Bilingual Ninja
Bilingual Ninja asks for spelling and route planning at the same time, so it's the hardest game in the series. Questions usually land on the two ways to unlock stages, or on the oni.

Purchases
Stage 1 — a three-word mission — is free, and stays free.
Stages 2 to 10 can be bought one at a time, so you only pay for what your child actually reaches.
There is also an all-stages purchase that opens every remaining stage at once, for less than buying them separately.
Every purchase is one-time. No subscriptions, no ads, no in-game currency.
Restore a purchase
Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, not to your device. If you've changed phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, or set up a new device, restoring brings everything back at no extra cost.
- 1Open Bilingual Ninja and go to the stage select screen.
- 2Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of that screen.
- 3Wait for the confirmation — any stages you've bought unlock straight away.
Restoring only works while signed in to the same Apple Account that made the original purchase. If nothing comes back, check which account is signed in under Settings → your name, then try again.
Common questions
I bought a stage but it's still locked.
Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the stage select screen. That resolves it in nearly every case, and it costs nothing. If the stage stays locked, make sure the device is signed in to the same Apple Account that made the purchase, then email us with the stage number.
Should I buy stages one at a time or all at once?
Buy one stage if you're not sure the game will hold your child's attention — stage 2 is enough to find out. The all-stages purchase costs less than buying the nine separately, so it's the better value once you know they're going to keep playing. Buying individual stages first doesn't lock you out of anything later.
The oni are too fast and my child keeps losing lives.
Difficulty climbs with the stage number, so going back a stage genuinely helps. Two things also make a big difference: the letter you need doesn't move, so it's worth pausing to plan the route before setting off, and oni patrol fixed paths that repeat — watching one lap is usually enough to see the gap.
How do I change which language we're practising?
Choose Japanese, English, or Mix before starting a mission. Mix is the one worth building up to: it forces a switch between scripts mid-game, which is the skill the whole series is built around.
The maze looks different every time we play the same stage.
That's deliberate. Mazes are generated fresh on every run and grow larger as stages go up, so the game can't be finished from memory — your child has to read the word and plan a new route each time.
My child grabbed the wrong letter. Did we lose progress?
No. Decoy letters simply don't count towards the word — they don't cost a life or reset anything. Only touching an oni costs a life, and there are three of those plus a clock.
If something goes wrong
- 1Close the app fully — swipe up from the bottom of the screen and flick the app away — then open it again.
- 2Restart the device. This clears up most graphics and audio problems on its own.
- 3Check the App Store for an update; we ship fixes there first.
- 4If the screen is black or the game won't start after an update, delete and reinstall. Purchases come back with Restore; stage progress is stored on the device and will be lost, so try the other steps first.
